Compared with Fantasy’s 172 books in 2011 this is a much smaller number, and this is significantly down on the 159 SF of 2010.Īgain, like Fantasy, many of the year’s releases were sequels or continuations of series. According to Locus Online at the time of writing (beginning of December) there have been 76 SF novels published this year.
